Add RFID to Square!

Yellow Dog Software built an integration that provides RFID printing and scanning/counting for the Square point-of-sale system.

This integration allows you to:

Update all retail items from Square to Yellow Dog on demand.

• Automatically assign RFID labels.

• Print RFID tags.

• Scan/Count RFID tags.

• Send counts back to Square (date/time specific).

Square to Yellow Dog Mapping

Square Field = > Yellow Dog Field

Name = Long Description

Size = Added to Long Description (Name, Size, Color), All YD Items will have a size of Each

Color  = Added to Long Description (Name, Size, Color)

On hand = On hand

Price = Current Retail, Price 1

Cost = Not passed; price is populated to cost (cost is required in YDI)

Vendor = Not passed; all items use “SquareVendor” as the vendor

Category = Level 2, Level 1 = “SquareRFID”
